Mongol Rally is All for Charity
The Mongol Rally is a Charity Rally designed to help the people of Mongolia while inspiring the adventurer in all of us. The reason the four of us took on this adventure is to raise money for a great international cause.
We will regularly update the amount of money raised and will document exactly where it will go.
100% of all money raised will go directly to charity.
The Social Media Syndicate has a goal of raising 10,000 to go towards our two causes; The Christina Noble Foundation and to buy an Ambulance to donate to Adventures for Development.
Helping Children in Need
The Christina Noble Childrens Charity is the 2011 Mongol Rally Official Charity and the money raised by our fundraising to help the Blue Skies Ger Village in Ulaanbaatar. The Ger Village houses abandoned or homeless children and gives them a new chance in life through education and a safe place to live.
The Mongol Rally makes sure that all the funds raised for the foundation goes directly to the Christina Noble foundation to help the street children and orphans of Ulaanbaatar.
The cost of running the adventure is completely separate. Not only are we having the adventure of a lifetime, we are making the world a better place.

Car Donation
Immediately following our arrival at Ulaan Baatar, our automobile will be handed over for charity to Adventure Developement Mongolia where they will decide where it will be best utilized in the country.
We are hoping to acquire an emergency vehicle to help the people of Mongolia. A fire truck, ambulance or other emergency vehicle would be our preference. While part of the fun is to drive across continents in a car held together by duct tape, we feel that we could do the people of Mongolia a great service by arriving in a vehicle that will actually help the community.
With our newly acquired mechanics skills (yeah right) we will treat our vehicle with kid gloves to keep it safe and in tip top condition to be utilized in the country upon our arrival. It is going to be a challenge for sure, but these four Bloggers are up for the challenge of learning about engines, changing tires and fixing oil and gas leaks.
